Hearing Highlights Federal Role in Infrastructure and Economic Importance of Infrastructure

In the upcoming months what happens in Washington is vitally important to all of us in the public infrastructure field. On Wednesday, February 13th, the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure held its first hearing of the 113th Congress today focusing on the importance of infrastructure to the U.S. economy and examining the role played by the Federal Government in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable infrastructure. It is a critical first step to ensure that the condition and performance of the public infrastructure becomes visible within the eyes of our leaders and they structure a proper way to put people back to work, rebuild the nations crumbling infrastructure while not placing the burden on Local Government.

Now is the time to contact your local representatives about making our infrastructure renewal a priority.
